CODE OF CONDUCT FOR ALL

We are a charitable nonprofit community organization committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Please help us create a safe, comfortable and inclusive environment at all times by following our Code of Conduct.

Checking/Savings Account or Credit Card Draft

This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay for your membership. Your fees are automatically withdrawn from your checking, savings, or credit card account once a month. To reduce our expenses, we appreciate if members consider providing us with a voided check for monthly payments.

Insurance Based Membership

Yes. We are grateful to offer two membership opportunities covered by insurance. These include Silver & Fit® Premium Network and Renew Active Healthy Aging and Exercise Program. You can learn more about current insurance provider partnerships or by contacting your insurance provider.

Annual Payment

Dues may be paid in full for 12 months. Payment is accepted via cash, check, or credit card. Contact a Y facility for more details.

Safety first. Please follow the rules posted within each of our facilities and their respective program areas.

Help us maintain a family-friendly environment for all people. Profanity, unwelcome comments, bad conduct and actions will not be tolerated.

Drinks in spill-proof, non-breakable containers are welcome in Y program areas.

We take pride in our family-friendly environment. Please keep attire appropriate and modest.

Shoes must be worn in all areas of the facility except the locker rooms, pool areas, or during classes such as Yoga. Proper closed-toe footwear must be worn while in the weight rooms, on the track, and while using equipment.

Be courteous to your fellow Y members by refraining from conversation on your cell phone while in program areas. Cell phone use is strictly prohibited in locker rooms.

To aid in the effort of our ability to provide a safe and threat-free environment, the YMCA monitors sexual offender registries. Persons on the list will NOT be eligible for Y membership, program participation, volunteer or employment opportunities at the YMCA.

YOUTH FACILITY USE

All children under the age of 12 years must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian when using the facility. Parents or guardians must be 18 years or older.

TOBACCO, DRUG AND ALCOHOL-FREE

The Idaho Falls Family YMCA requires an alcohol and tobacco-free environment. No alcohol consumption, smoking, dipping or other usage of tobacco is allowed in our buildings, pools, parking lot or on our grounds. This includes E-cigs, pipes and vapor products.

SCHEDULE CHANGES, CLOSURES & INCLEMENT WEATHER

Schedule Changes – To ensure the best member experience, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient registrations, attendance, or inclement weather. Please ensure your contact information is up to date so that we may contact you in the event of program changes or facility closures. For changes to the group exercise schedule please visit our website or the Daxko Mobile App. Classes are updated in real-time with cancellations and changes to instructors.

Closures & Inclement Weather – In the event of inclement weather, emergency closures or other situations where the YMCA has to cancel or adjust facility operating hours, notification will be sent via email, social media, the Daxko Mobile App and posted visibly at our facilities. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Holidays – It is important to us that our staff teams and members have the opportunity to spend time with their family and friends on holidays. With that in mind, Idaho Falls Family YMCA and the Early Learning Center at Little Hands may follow adjusted operating hours on certain holidays.

MAIN FACILITIES ARE CLOSED ON: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July*, Memorial Day*, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
