A Summer Full of Adventure, Creativity, and Fun

Summer at the Idaho Falls Family YMCA is all about adventure, creativity, and connection. Our Summer Day Camp provides a safe, affordable, and engaging environment where kids can explore new interests, build friendships, and stay active all summer long.
From creative arts and science experiments to outdoor games and exciting field trips, every week brings something new for campers to discover.

Monday – Friday
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 
Extended Care:
Available from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM to support busy family schedules. (No additional charge)
Weekly Camp Themes
Each week of camp features a new theme that inspires activities, crafts, games, and special events.
  • Week 1 (June 1–5): Wacky, Weird, & Wonderful
  • Week 2 (June 8–12): Passport to Adventure
  • Week 3 (June 15–19): Art Attack
  • Week 4 (June 22–26): Mythical Mayhem
  • Week 5 (June 29–July 2): Fiesta Time
  • Week 6 (July 6–10): Around the World in 5 Days
  • Week 7 (July 13–17): Totally Tie Dye
  • Week 8 (July 20–24): Color Wars
  • Week 9 (July 27–31): Think It. Build It. Try It.
  • Week 10 (Aug 3–7): Imagination Station
  • Week 11 (Aug 10–14): Splash Bash
  • Week 12 (Aug 17–21): Camp Carnival
Each theme brings hands-on activities, themed crafts, games, and group challenges designed to keep campers engaged and excited all summer long.
Programs by Age
Our camp offers age-appropriate experiences designed to support growth, independence, and fun.
Hornets Camp
Kindergarten campers enjoy a nurturing introduction to camp with structured play, crafts, and outdoor activities.
Adventure Camp
1st–6th graders participate in a wide variety of activities including sports, creative arts, STEM projects, and group challenges.
LIT Program (Leaders in Training)
7th–10th graders build leadership skills while assisting staff, mentoring younger campers, and developing responsibility.

Field Trips & Special Activities

Campers participate in field trips and special outings throughout the summer, offering opportunities to explore the community and try new experiences.
Trips may include visits to:

Field trip schedules vary by age group and week.

Registration Information

Registration Opens: April 6, 2026
Families can register week-by-week, making it easy to customize camp schedules to fit summer plans.
Registration will be available online or in person starting April 6th @ 6:00 AM.

  1. Complete the registration form
  2. Submit required documents
    • Emergency contact information
    • Medical information
    • Immunization record
  3. Pay the $50 registration fee
Weekly sessions must be paid one week in advance.

Member: $160 per week
Non-Member: $175 per week
Discounts Available
  • Multi-week bundle discounts for 4+ weeks
  • Financial assistance available for qualifying families
  • ICCP accepted
