There’s nothing quite like summer at Big Elk Creek YMCA Camp. Surrounded by Idaho’s stunning wilderness, campers experience adventure, friendship, confidence-building challenges, and lifelong memories—all in a safe, supportive environment designed just for kids.
Registration for Summer 2026 is officially open, and now’s the perfect time to reserve your child’s spot!

Mini Camp (Ages 6–10): July 1–3
Perfect for first-time campers or younger adventurers, Mini Camp offers:
  • 2 nights and 3 days of outdoor fun
  • Archery, canoeing, crafts, and games
  • Campfires, songs, and new friendships
  • A gentle introduction to overnight camping
Cost: $350 | $325 for YMCA Members
Early Bird Savings: $25 off if registered by May 17

Resident Camp (Ages 8–17): Weekly Sessions in July
Resident Camp is where memories are made. Each week features:
  • Ropes courses and team challenges
  • Swimming, canoeing, hiking, and exploring
  • BMX biking
  • Archery and camp crafts
  • Evening campfires beneath starry summer skies
Sessions Available: July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, and July 27–31
Cost: $650 | $600 for YMCA Members
Early Bird Savings: $50 off if registered by May 17
Optional round-trip bus transportation is available from the Idaho Falls YMCA—making the experience even more convenient for families.
