Tanner Rohne, CEO Idaho Falls Family YMCA
Tanner Rohne brings over 15 years of experience of non-profit program development to his new position as Chief Executive Officer of the Idaho Falls YMCA. He also brings a passion for the impact the Y has on the lives on children. Rohne joined the Y movement in 2017, applying his leadership skills in developing programs for youth, young adults, and staff alike. “What I love about the Y the most, is that everybody matters. Whether it be our members, different people in the community, our staff everyone plays an essential role in the success of our community.”
Rohne is looking forward to connecting with members as they come into the building, participating in one of the many programs offered, or at community events. Eager and passionate to make the Idaho Falls YMCA the place where everyone feels valued and at home. Please feel free to come by and learn more about how the YMCA can help the community.

Donovan Stokes
Donovan Stokes was born in Charleston South Carolina on Christmas day.
After high school, Donovan joined the US Army at the age of 17. He served over 3 years as an E4 Specialist before enrolling in the University of Southern Colorado where he majored in Social Sciences and Education. He was a Childcare Director for for more then 5 years.
While at his time at the YMCA, Donovan became a published author writing two books; Reflections from the Heart, and Journey of a Thousand Miles, both which can be found on Amazon.
Donovan’s philosophy on life:
“No matter the situation or how dark life can seem, the sun is always shining and if we can anchor ourselves when the storm winds blow our way, we will be left standing”

Velisha Howard is from Bozeman, MT and is a proud mother of three kids. She believes in living her best life through nature, love, and happiness. Her goal is to do the best at everything she can to strive in life. Her professional goal is to teach the youth in our community and be an asset in life around them. She has personally secured Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting and Communications and can’t wait to learn more throughout the lessons in her life.
Board of Directors
The YMCA Board of Directors is composed of volunteers who are nominated and elected on by the current board members. The board is responsible for setting the overall mission and vision of the organization, overseeing the strategic direction and operations, establishing policies, approving budgets, and monitoring financial performance.

The YMCA provided opportunity for a single parent child to have access to youth sports. Starting with YMCA Youth Sports, Nick became an accomplished athlete through high school and collegiately in basketball and baseball. He is the Finance Director of Teton Auto Group where he oversees the Finance Departments of 9 different dealerships in 5 states. Nick focuses his time serving on the board of the Idaho Falls YMCA leading our mission and continuing to make an impact on our local community.

After moving to Idaho Falls, she worked as a graphic artist for Diversified Metal Products, transferring to Innovative Edge under the same boss. After 3 years, she started her own business as a freelancer. More recently, she spends her time volunteering and entertaining as a trivia host and comedienne. She has volunteered for 28 years with 20 years of experience organizing fundraisers. She’s on the YMCA Board since 2020.
