Before & After School Program Overview
Mission Statement: To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Program Structure
- Hours of Operation:
- Before School: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- After School: Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Extended hours available on early dismissal days and school holidays.
Daily Schedule
- 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Arrival and Snack Time
- Children arrive and check-in.
- Healthy snacks approved by CACFP are provided.
- 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Homework and Academic Support
- Quiet time for homework completion with assistance from staff.
- Academic games and activities for those without homework.
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Enrichment Activities
- Rotating schedule of activities including arts and crafts, science projects, and cultural studies.
- 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Physical Activity
- Outdoor play, organized sports, and fitness activities.
- 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Free Play and Pick-Up
- Children choose from various indoor activities.
- Parents/guardians sign out their children.
Enrollment and Fees
- Enrollment Process:
- Complete the registration form.
- Submit required documents (emergency contact, medical information, immunization record).
- Pay the registration fee. ($50)
- Rates:
- After School 4 days/week: Member – $390 Non-Member – $440
- After School 5 days/week: Member – $415 Non-Member – $465
- Before & After School 4 days/week: Member – $440 Non-Member – $490
- Before & After School 5 days/week: Member – $470 Non-Member – $520
- Drop-in rate: $60 per day
- Financial assistance available for qualifying families.

Summer at the Idaho Falls Family YMCA is all about adventure, creativity, and connection. Our Summer Day Camp provides a safe, affordable, and engaging environment where kids can explore new interests, build friendships, and stay active all summer long.
From creative arts and science experiments to outdoor games and exciting field trips, every week brings something new for campers to discover.

Each week of camp features a new theme that inspires activities, crafts, games, and special events.
- Week 1 (June 1–5): Wacky, Weird, & Wonderful
- Week 2 (June 8–12): Passport to Adventure
- Week 3 (June 15–19): Art Attack
- Week 4 (June 22–26): Mythical Mayhem
- Week 5 (June 29–July 2): Fiesta Time
- Week 6 (July 6–10): Around the World in 5 Days
- Week 7 (July 13–17): Totally Tie Dye
- Week 8 (July 20–24): Color Wars
- Week 9 (July 27–31): Think It. Build It. Try It.
- Week 10 (Aug 3–7): Imagination Station
- Week 11 (Aug 10–14): Splash Bash
- Week 12 (Aug 17–21): Camp Carnival
Each theme brings hands-on activities, themed crafts, games, and group challenges designed to keep campers engaged and excited all summer long.

Our camp offers age-appropriate experiences designed to support growth, independence, and fun.
Hornets Camp
Kindergarten campers enjoy a nurturing introduction to camp with structured play, crafts, and outdoor activities.
Adventure Camp
1st–6th graders participate in a wide variety of activities including sports, creative arts, STEM projects, and group challenges.
LIT Program (Leaders in Training)
7th–10th graders build leadership skills while assisting staff, mentoring younger campers, and developing responsibility.
